10:30 AM - Adult Sunday school: We are looking at the theme of the covenants in the Bible. What are these and what is the nature and purpose of biblical covenants?
Children's Sunday School will also be held this Sunday at the same time.
11:30 AM - Worship Service: This Sunday we will continue preaching our way through the Sermon on the Mount. We will be looking at Matthew 6:19-24; Live For Eternity!
FURTHER THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:
Those who live for the here and now will lose everything in the life to come. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said, "For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Why would you exchange a handful of diamonds for a truckload of dirt? That is what you are doing when you live for the here and now. You have exchanged everlasting joy, peace and life with God for momentary pleasures of this world.
Repent of your self-centered godless lifestyle and come to Christ by faith. Make Him the Master of your life! You won't regret it. But you can't serve two masters. Choose this day; Christ or the world. Christ or your family. Christ or your hobbies. Christ or your money. Christ or your career. The truth be told, even the things you enjoy here in this life will be absent from you in the life to come. Come and live for eternity! Come and live for the One who is eternal!
How sweet and refreshing is the inspired, immutable, infallible, inerrant Word of God in this world that is being "tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes."
Apart from the true church, the body of Christ, you cannot be right with God. How can you love His head and neglect His body?
Come and join us this Sunday!
Hope to see you then,
Pastor Kevin James
We Believe in the inspired, inerrant, immutable Word of God; we Rest in its promises, we Bring our lives under its authoritative rule, and we Confess it to a confused and dying world.
