Kevin was born in South Bend and raised in Elkhart. He graduated from Jimtown High School, and later graduated from Moody Bible Institute. He came to embrace Reformed Theology a few years after being born again. His Pastor taught him the Doctrines of Grace and graciously pointed Kevin to the Banner of Truth website for additional theological books and commentaries.
Kevin is a church planter and has served in a variety of ways over the years. These ministries include church maintenance, adult Sunday school, teen Sunday school, headed a Children's ministry, headed a nursing home and assisted living center services, Elder, Preacher and Pastor. He loves Christ's church, which is His body, and he delights in serving people and not being served.
Kevin has been married to Renee, his faithful wife since 1989. They have two children whom they homeschooled. By God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ, both of them have come to saving faith in Christ and were baptized. Renee's mom lived with them for twenty-two years. She too by God's grace was transferred from the domain of darkness into the Kingdom of His beloved Son at the age of sixty-two and is now at home in glory.
Kevin writes,
"Firstly, I love God. Therefore the Word of God is my interest everyday, which limits my reading to theological books, biographies, and biblical commentaries.
Secondly, I love my family. It has been a great blessing for me to spend every day with them. We have enjoyed some spectacular times together over the years, especially since we homeschooled our children and my wife stays at home. This close unity in our family has allowed us to spend many memorable times together; sitting, laughing, talking, crying, praying, walking, riding bikes, camping trips, boat rides, and various other activities and vacations.
Thirdly, I love the body of Christ; It is a privilege to serve, worship, and fellowship with my brothers and sisters. This is not just locally, but even when we travel to other areas of the world. There are no insignificant members of the body of Christ. If they are significant enough for Christ to shed His precious blood on the Cross of Calvary, then they must be significant to me."
